NEXCEN BRANDS LAUNCHES WAVERLY.COM WEBSITE

NEW YORK, May 15, 2008 - NexCen Brands Inc. (Nasdaq: NEXC), owner of the Waverly brand, today has launched a new Waverly.com website. It reflects the expansion of the Waverly brand beyond home furnishings to encompass a customer’s full lifestyle.

The new site will create an interactive environment for consumers through its Styling with Sandra Lee section. Waverly spokesperson Sandra Lee is a home and style expert with an Emmy-nominated television show, Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee, which airs on the Food Network. Webcasts and other events with Sandra Lee will be featured regularly on Waverly.com site.

The new site will include an “Inspiration Gallery” of beautifully decorated room images based on Waverly design themes, as well as an extensive product library search of Waverly fabrics, wallpapers and paint. It will also help consumers locate retail stores and catalogs where they may purchase Waverly products.

“The Waverly.com website helps us illustrate the new lifestyle direction of the Waverly brand,” said Rick Platt, president of NexCen Home Studios. “Our goal is to inspire loyal and new audiences to experience the Waverly lifestyle for themselves. At the same time, we want to create a community for sharing decorating ideas.”

Waverly will kick off its 85th anniversary with a National Decorating Contest beginning June 1 on Waverly.com. By sharing their decorating projects, consumers will have a chance to win a trip to New York and meet with Sandra Lee.

Waverly.com will provide a dynamic environment for customers to experience the World of Waverly. The new Waverly.com site was developed for NexCen by New York web developer Joseph Cohen of Team Red Studio, LLC.
