NEW YORK, May 29, 2008 - NexCen Brands Inc. (Nasdaq: NEXC), owner of the Waverly brand, will host a National Waverly Decorating Contest with the grand prize a trip to New York and a style consultation with Waverly spokesperson Sandra Lee. The contest kicks off June 1 and runs through July 31, 2008. Waverly and the editors of Family Circle magazine will choose the winner and five runners-up in August.
NexCen Home Studios is working with strategic partners, Family Circle magazine and JoAnn Fabric and Craft stores. Participants may enter the contest on Waverly.com, FamilyCircle.com, Joann.com, or Semihomemade.com and submit their Waverly decorating stories and photos directly on the websites.

The contest will ask consumers to share their Waverly decorating projects and tell how Waverly helped make their home and family a happier place. The grand prize winner and a guest will come to New York and meet with Sandra Lee at the Waverly Design Studio in New York. Waverly spokesperson Sandra Lee is a home and style expert with an Emmy-nominated television show, Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee, which airs on the Food Network.
The contest winner will receive invaluable advice from Sandra Lee and Waverly Design Experts plus will select Waverly fabric for one of their future decorating projects. Five runners-up will win Waverly products, a JoAnn Fabric and Craft store gift card and a subscription to Family Circle magazine.
